Energetic Theme | December: The Magic of Reflection

Angels are all around. The trumpeter is sounding off his siren. Expect the calling of your soul to be your true life’s purpose. And so it is.
Welcome to December.
A time of rejoicing. A time of reflection. A time of joy. We have made it to the final month of the year. We must now rise and prepare for the next evolution of our lives. Of the journey we tide to each day.
Expect a miracle and a miracle you will find. Magic happens when you most expect it.
There is an awakening. Do you feel it? Stagnation giving way to direction. Fear leading to flight. Uncertainty breaking down to clarity.
The Judgement card to me is many things. It speaks to our soul’s true calling. Our inner purpose and the divine path bestowed upon us. It is an awakening. A reminder. A rebirth. This card calls on us to call on ourselves. To revitalize our inner spirit and what makes us who we are. Judgment is also a reflection. A literal reminder to look over the choices we have made. The opportunities we have passed up on. The times we have stayed and the times we have walked away. Look. Look now. All those maybes. Those big no’s and the oh hell yes’s have brought you to this very moment. This very day.
Look around. Soak it all in.
Whatever hardships you have faced. The happy days. The sad days. Look. You are now here. In this moment. How do you feel?
Magic happens when you most expect it.
This energetic theme I would like to add in some year-end review questions. 11 questions for an 11 year. A little food for thought to kickstart your reflection journey. Grab a notebook and a pen or simply take a moment to pause and reflect:

Are you currently resisting anything?
If so, are you holding still for someone else or for yourself? Would it be easier to surrender?

On this first day of the final month of 2018, what one word would you use to summarize this year?
(Hint: it’s often the first one that pops in your head)

Are you ready to take the next step in your own personal healing journey?
(5).
How would you begin this next phase?
(no wrong answers here: is it internal work? external work? a job change? more personal time? a move? a new hobby? another person?)

Would you say you have experienced profound emotional shifts this year?

Do you feel you have missed an opportunity this year?
if yes, what were you expecting? how would it feel if you found it? or did you pass it up? reflect on this.
if no, did you receive something you were wanting? express gratitude. or did you not find yourself looking at all? do you wish you had?
(8). Fondly remember one moment when you felt most connected to Source.

if you feel you have none, where do you think you could have found this moment?

Have you found magic when you most expected it this year?

In this exact moment do you feel you know your soul’s calling?
if yes, share it.
if no, have you thought about it? is there something you’d like it to be and aren’t sure? are you still searching?
Take a moment. Close your eyes and soak in this exercise. All the answers, clarity, confusion, happiness, sadness, and gratitude. Take a deep breath and count to 5.

What word are you currently thinking?
Write it down and circle it. Keep it in your back pocket. For those with silly inanimate objects, thank the goddess and smile. For those with adjectives and verbs, channel their energy. For those with nouns or names and places, what significance does this have to you? (For animals and energetic items i.e. rainbows, angels, the Sun, the Moon etc. search their spiritual meaning online).
This word is a clue. For those who may have something nonsensical your spirit team has a sense of humor. Thank them and ask them if they have another word or energetic theme for you. Don’t force it just listen. Or if you generally feel your word was not meant for you. Take another moment. To pause. Breathe. Clear the mind. And listen. It will come. Trust that it will. And if not today, then when the time is right.
What we have just tapped into is your personal word for 2019. Have no fear if it’s sad or mysterious or just plain weird. You are not beholden to this word. We never are. Explore the personal meaning. The significance if any. I challenge those left with something bewildering or unexpected to find the deeper meaning. Think of synonyms. Antonyms. Song lyrics. A possible clue or double meaning. And those with a straight and simple word do the same. Pull this word apart and it’s energy to find its true nuance.
Spirit likes it when we up-level. It’s part of our spiritual journey. Enjoy this last month of the year. Celebrate the season. And take time to be with the one’s love you. First and foremost…yourself.
