Energetic theme:
Manifestation is a balancing act of aligning internally while simultaneously checking in on how our thoughts are coming into form physically. October’s tarot calls upon the number 7. A divinely inspired digit confirming the Universe hears our pleas and is ready to co-create with us whenever we are ready. Always. Because when we bravely market our magic and show up to the metaphorical meeting prepped and ready our guides meet us halfway to get the job done. Are you ready? To face the messy edge that is. The one where evolution occurs just as we try to sneak out the door to visit said line another day. Writing this energetic theme is bringing up feelings of “Really, this again?” which means it’s more than time to get down and dirty with what we really want to grow. But keep it creative and festive and fun. Libra season wouldn’t have it any other way if we didn’t party on Friday nights or the whole weekend. So, put your best foot forward but only when it’s convenient for you. October may be the season of love but it is also the season to be selfish a la the Libra New Moon the last weekend in September. Self-love, anyone? October will have more of that scheduled in what is most likely an already packed planner. Embrace this month of refining and defining and please give Libra what she wants and do it in style.

10/2: Pluto goes direct in Capricorn
The waters of our psyche reach high tide as the planet of transformation rolls forward once again. Pluto stations direct in Capricorn allowing the depths of your being to loosen and shake as the tides turn. This is a time of deep lasting change. Check your chart for the house in which Capricorn sits to make note of where these changes will occur most.
10/3: Mercury enters Scorpio -> 11/10
The planet of communication takes on a sultry, sarcastic tone for longer than usual as Mercury journeys into Scorpio. The season of the witch will be filled with deep secrets, dark corners, and lights shining on things usually left unseen. Take time during this period to sit back in an oversized, red velvet tufted chair and surrender to the challenging war of words in your mind and heart.
Mars libra -> 11/20
Your gut can’t un-know the truth or “unknot the turn” as autocorrect just said. New phrase, anyone? How very Mars in Libra to make nonsense sound pretty. As Mars enters the sweet air of Libra, moments of hesitation may unfold requiring us to hold tight to why we chose what it is we do in the first place. “Unknot the turn” so-to-speak. Stand your ground and take a moment to reflect rather than react and certainly before deciding to act.
10/7: Venus enters Scorpio -> 11/2
The planet of love follows Mercury into the shadowy depths of Scorpio to pull up all the feelings we had so nicely stored away in air-tight containers for the estate sale hopefully decades away. What will surface in these waters take on a choppier tone then Venus would like. Be tender with your heart. Honor your feelings and the memories they ignite. With the sun still in Libra (a softening note for Venus), balance the burning in your being with the gentle breeze around you. Kisses may feel less like raw honey and more so just plain raw.
10/13: Full Moon in Aries
Dip your toes into this fiery pool of passion and close the door behind you while you do. It’s time to let all those things you’re holding onto burn in the flames of the fire-laden, first sign of the zodiac. Aries sees no reason to worry about anyone other than yourself at this time. Full moon releasing.
10/23: Sun enters Scorpio
Bob hide the children! It’s that time of year again, Scorpio season - the one you love to think makes you cool but is really just a front for those who are unable to harness the wrecking ball type secrets revealed during these 30-some odd days. Grab your magnify glass and sleuth around a bit. Times are sure to be changing.
10/31: Mercury Rx in Scorpio | Samhain
Happy Halloween! Take today and tomorrow to connect with Earth and your ancestors. Whether this requires cat ears, glitter and cape you can decide. But know a moment to honor and pause may distract you long enough to not notice Mercury went retrograde. Boo! This is an extra time of refining (and backing up) all those important documents in your life. And please, get the shredder ready, Scorpio is not here to play nice. Remember dark corners and unseen things. Do the work now so you don’t have to later. It really is the Season of the Witch.
