Energetic Theme | April: The Flower + The Joy

Your cup is filled with flowers.
Don’t you see it?
Look at all that is supporting you.
So much beauty. So many talents. An abundance of gifts to draw from.
Our seeds are producing life. The seeds we selected, cared for, and cultivated throughout the first 3 months 2018. (Catch up on previous ENERGETIC THEMES HERE).
A soon to be springtime lush (for folks in the Northern Hemisphere).
As we begin this April with Mercury in retrograde we are being called to reflect on what has gotten us here. What is propelling us forward? Why are we doing what we are doing? What is our BIG WHY? Let the worries subside (as best as you can) and take the time to just revel in the joy of it all. Like when we young and unafraid to play and dream with our imaginations gone wild.

Happiness is an ever-present state of being. Happiness is always around us. It is our choice to tap into its presence. Don’t wait for a better day. Or another time. Be grounded in the happiness that surrounds you now.
A thin line connects the past, present, and future.
Our past supports our future. It does not define it.
Bring fond memories of the past to the present.
With Mercury migrating backwards, our past may show up at our door a few times during the first half of the month.
Deep-rooted memories.
Old lovers.
Visits to places from our past.
Reunions with friends and family.
How we react to these doses of nostalgia will act as a tell-tale sign of how our relationship to our past is supporting our future. If we are struggling with the return of these old friends or foes then take time to reflect. Which of these emotions need to be uncovered and released so we can feel at ease. Joyful. And supported.
Smell the full blooming flowers filling your cup. All the beauty in your life. And know that the roots of those very flowers began growing in the past.
We’re looking for the joy in it all. And if the life you’re living and the work you’re doing toady is from your heart’s purest intentions than it won’t be hard to feel that joy. You’ll feel your joy’s warmth fill you instantly from your heart center. If you can’t feel that resounding warmth in your chest. It’s okay. There is never a moment too late to try something new. Begin again now. Live a life created from bliss and filled with joy.
Taking a bit of time to reflect on our past allows us to connect with our authentic, genuine, joyful selves. It is a surefire way to step into the present because we bring awareness to the core of it all — our true being. This allows us to create from bliss. The passion-joy that lives within us all. The joy sustained by the roots cultivated in our past yielding our flower-filled cups in the present.
Let the joy out. Let it roam around. Let it have fun. Your inner-child is calling. We must nurture it. With happiness and joy.
