Energetic Theme | March: The Seed + The Sower
(original post published on SUN+MAMA)
We must be patient. Yes. More patient. Cultivation takes time, patience, and perseverance.
When sowing seeds we must not sit back watching and waiting for the them to grow. We need to nurture the seeds. Tend to the soil. Provide ample nutrients and fair conditions. The process is not quick or easy. There will be setbacks. There will be challenges. We need patience and perseverance.
The World reversed is telling us the cycle we began in January is NOT yet complete. The world is our oyster. But we must keep pouring energy into cultivating our ideas. Plans. And dreams. Keep kneading. Digging. Getting our hands dirty in the soil. Tending to our seeds. If if we really want them to grow.
Those plans we derived in January. That dream. That idea. It’s calling. Calling for action. Calling for cultivation. Mr. Saturn is ringing, again (as he has been since his big move into Capricorn on December 19th). Reminding us. Challenging us. Making us work for it. Making us work harder than ever before for what it is we truly want. It’s back to the refining. Time to till the soil. Make it ready for our seeds to fully take root. And grow.
January was for planning. Writing and revising our action plans. Picking the best packet of seeds. And the optimal garden for them to grow in.
February was for fun. Foolishly meandering through mountains and catering to our whims. Letting things germinate in our minds. Taking a breather
And now March is asking us to get back to the task at hand. To get back to the dream. To the seed behind it all. And let the buds begin to grow.
If we want payoff we need patience. We must persevere. Remember why it is you sowed the seed initially. The seed is your idea. Your dream. And it is time to watch her grow by tending to your garden. The garden of your life.
Miley Cyrus sings, “I heard you reap only what you sow” in her song I Would Die For You. Despite the melodramatic name to the track, the meaning is perfectly poignant. If you never bother to sow your seeds. Put action behind your dreams. Then you will never achieve them. Simple right? Yet, we spend so much time doubting. And fearing. And fighting. Thinking of every reason imaginable not to try. Not to give into our fear and let our dreams really take root. We’re all searching for that beautiful, luscious vine like that of the sower in the Seven of Pentacle’s. But as you can see he is resting. Growing that beautiful vine takes work. Give in to the challenge. To the fear. It’s time to face the north side of the mountain. The hardest face to climb. And climb.
“Live your life each day as you would climb a mountain. An occasional glance toward the summit keeps the goal in mind but many beautiful scenes are to be observed from each new vantage point. Climb slowly, steadily, enjoying each passing moment; and the view from the summit will serve as a fitting climax for the journey.” - Harold V Melchert
Be proud. Grateful, even. For how far you have come. In just a short time you have achieved so much. Let the site of the freshly tilled soil. Of blossoming buds really excite you. Pat yourself on the back. Even better, thank yourself. Thank yourself and the universe. Great Spirt. Your Spirit Team. Whomever. Silently. Loudly. Whatever way feels right to you. Thank all those who got you here. Including yourself. Even if you just decided in this moment to take your dream seriously. Or are months and years into the journey. Be grateful. And revel in that gratitude. Again. And again. And again. Like sunlight and water is to a newborn seed. Gratitude and love is to a baby dream.
It’s all about mindset. Let the reality of your seedling dream really take root in your mind. Because the only person who will take you seriously. Is yourself. Yes, there will be people who love and support you. But only you truly know the reasons why and for what you are planted this seed. March and a nearing springtime are perfectly ready for our dreams to grow. It is up to us.
Here's to our luscious garden filled with divine dreams...
