Approach the situation with a light heart for there are no shadows without light, and even then, darkness cannot survive in the light.
Do you feel like something is missing or about to change BIG time? If so, embrace the feelings of hum-drum apathy and deep set uncertainty in your heart. Listen up. Feel those feels as they are here to show you who you are becoming. We are told to fear these feelings, yet beyond that fear is freedom if you lean in. To all that is working wonderfully in your favor. To the very things that are extending a helping hand to you to cross this bridge of disheartened uncertainty to peace.
It’s okay to seek the shelter of your own protection. In fact, it is in your own protection where you can continue to inhale and exhale even when things don’t quite make sense yet. It is here where you allow your cup to overflow with fulfillment, gratitude, and the satisfaction of abundance, because it is fostered “within” by going “without.” Here is the very moment when the wave realizes it is the ocean. Enlightenment itself. You cannot separate from your wholeness despite the commercial that just offered you you could at the low-low, half-off price of your sovereignty. Allow the anxiety and darkness of depression pulling at your peripherals to be a companion in your life and not an enemy you endlessly try to fight off as these unprecedented tides continue to turn. The most radical act there will ever be is the one when you commit to yourself. Novel? No. Necessary? Yes.
Despite all of the hoopla truly ask yourself, do you feel you have missed out on an opportunity this year?
If yes, what were you expecting? How would it feel if you had found it? Or were you in fact the one to pass it up? Reflect on this.If no, did you receive the something you were wanting and/or waiting for? Express gratitude. Or did you find yourself not looking at all? Do you wish you had?
The mind, my dear, plays tricks on us. Telling you if you feel empty then empty you shall be. But we cannot pour from an empty cup. So, what is it that fills us up? What if the opportunity this year is: You. No place, thing, or party you didn’t visit, attain, or attend. But in fact the opportunity has been and forever will be: You. Do you find relief in this? Or were you hoping for something more externally gratifying?
Until we thoughtfully show-up and attend the party that is our life, we will spend countless non-transferable moments seeking something we already found. This is the great paradox the final month of a four year (2+0+2+0 = 4) would like us to reflect on. What does it mean to search for something you already found? What happens when you do in fact realize you already found it? If you find these questions rhetorically useless then it can be assumed you already sought what it is you were seeking. Or maybe, instead, you never actually began looking at all.
The New Year begins early this year, astrologically speaking, on December 21st when the solstice take place and Great Conjunction occurs between Jupiter and Saturn both freshly arrived in Aquarius. This synergy occurs roughly every 19 years and never fails to show-up with shock value in spades. However, these two have not danced in this element (air) for nearly 400 years (the time just shorty after Galileo crafted his first telescope). In some traditions this mashup has been predicted to mark the beginning and the end. Whatever shifts are underway, rest assured albeit unsettled, the new paradigm is arriving wrapped and ready just in time for Christmas and the Gregorian reigning in of a new year.
