Energetic Theme | October: The Craftsmanship + The Creator

We are all different mixes of inspiration.
September was the month of becoming one with our soul child. The Star within us. Our one and only polarizing self. We’ve reached the high vibration. Remember the heady mix of nutrients hanging around all of last month (if not, catch up here)? It’s ours. We’ve reached that level. Powerful alchemist, you. Look at all that transmutation. All those lower frequencies once radiating near you. By you. The ones that had still been within reach much to your dismay. Look now. We’re so high we can’t be reached.
Welcome. Welcome, my dear. Welcome. You’re a badass, plainly put.
Inner work leads to outer work leads to inner work leads to outer work. And guess whose up at bat? Well, our starseed cores are ready and bursting at the seems. So, it’s physical manifestation time here we come. Again.
This sentiment does not need to be taken literally. Yes, September had both internal and external upgrades happening all around. But I am certain you would agree the internal up-levels were a bit more kicking and awesome than anything that was happening externally in our 3D world and life. Here’s great news: that’s all about to change.
Craftsmanship and creations.
Here we come. Inner work yields outer work. And the 8 of Pents is one hard worker. Dedicated beyond belief you could say. And hey, that is not a bad sentiment to hold on to.
Dedicate yourself beyond belief.
To all that it is you desire. This is not woo-woo. This is not higher mind. This is not out of reach. You have desires don’t you? Then why don’t you have them yet? Have you tried? Sought out? Gone for it? Actually made an effort? Or just said you would? Saying and doing are two entirely separate things. So, go on, dedicate yourself beyond belief.
There’s a catch. Yup, you were right. Everything is not as it seems. The catch here is the idea of “beyond.” Manifesting these desires requires believing beyond what you can see in order for things to well, manifest. You can’t use your average everyday commuting to work, cleaning the kitchen, same-old-same-old mindset to believe beyond what you can see. You need a high vibe, “I-can-do-anything-at-anytime-whenever-I-want-to-because-I-can-and-say-so” mindset. Yeah, we’re talking dedicated. And girl oh girl are the energies supporting you. This. Everything.
There’s a few astro dates in the mix here I want to mention. We have some shadow periods ending. Notable ones. And a retrograde beginning. Eeeeekkkk. Nah, it’s all okay. I promise. You know how I know? Because I said so. That’s all you have to do to. Just believe. Ah, see. What a wonderful way to put our new sentiment into practice.
In October’s first week both Jupiter and Mars are coming out of shadow. And just a pinch before the 1st of the month Pluto does too on 9/30.
What does this mean? Before a planet is fully in retrograde it enters and exits via a shadow period. Meaning, astrologically speaking, the planet is still moving through the degrees before and after it’s point of retrograde, which keeps the air buzzing a bit. That breath you are holding in a bit can now fully be exhaled. I know right, you didn’t even realize you were holding it in at all. #shadowperiod.
Most astrologers don’t focus on these because well, they just don’t feel it’s necessary, but personally I find shadow periods to be very profound. To me, the full retrograde period is where the reaction happens. But you need action for that reaction to occur. You know, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Thank you, Issac. We really appreciate it, Mr. Newton.
The shadow period leading into a retrograde is the action. The mishaps that lead to the lessons that leads to the on and on and on. Then we have the retrograde as the reaction that makes the whole thing officially in motion. With the bulk of drama and up-leveling and swirling and stuff hurdling back at us and in all directions. And then there’s the shadow period leading out of the retrograde with even more action. Typically, where the lessons are learned, the changes are made, etc. etc. To me this is full blown magic. Like, what? You just made it through all of that nitty-gritty refinement, awkward squeezing through narrow spaces, discomfort, lessons, more lessons, more of all that other more stuff, and now you’re here.
You made it.
So, my dears what does this mean for you? Well, in which house does your Scorpio, Capricorn, and Aquarius lie? Jupiter is exiting it’s shadow in Scorpio, Pluto is exiting stage left from it’s Capricorn shadow, and Mars is exiting its shadow now back in Aquarius. And if you’re not super up-to-date on astrology, search up the meaning of those placements or ask your nearest and dearest astro-enthused friends for some pointers. And see. Just see. It may be beyond your belief where these babies are in your natal and just how much their shadows have been influencing you.

Simply put my buzzy, toiling energy centers around this one phase, “Communicating creative work.” Ding ding ding! I’m launching a new creative business and oh my my is communicating on my mind.

As for this mighty fine retrograde, we have Miss Venus making her wayward way backward from 10/5 to 11/16 (yes, we have already been in shadow). The focus is on relationships. The normal astrological prescription would warn you to be wary of all lovers past, present, and future. And to that I say, yes please do think twice about the cuties who may come your way during these some odd 40 days. But, there’s one type of love I am a hell of a lot more focused on than any of those. And that is self-love. As you may have guessed.
September was the unfolding of one of the most epic and beautiful self-love journeys I have seen in the CC (CC- meaning we are all experiencing it as a collective). This journey continues everyday. All day. 24/7. And now our internal reverie and starseed is moving outward to manifest more fully on the physical plane. Please, please wear your warrior armor and keep that fiery red energy not for heart doodles in your notebook but for fierce protection and warrior goddess wisdom in your mind, on your body, and within your spirit. Venus is a testy woman. You have a fellow Libra over here so, I know. But she is so profoundly powerful. La Luna and mama Venus are the fierce feminine energies in our greater solar system. They’re tangy and sweet. Be mindful as we dedicate ourselves beyond belief to a whole new reality. And baby, all I can say is we are going places.
As you may have noticed this energetic theme is more lengthy. A bit or mighty bit more bumbling. And to that I would like to thank and shed light on the energy of this time. It is messy. It is gritty. It goes deep. The way to healing involves all those things. And with big open arms, let’s embrace it and run heart first into the beauty of belief. Up-level together, we shall.
